Domaine Anita was created in 2015 and is situated in Southern Burgundy in Chenas, near Macon. Owner Anita Neveu represents a new generation of winemakers revolutionizing the Beaujolais region with complex, sophisticated expressions of Gamay Noir from various cru appellations. The wines at Domaine Anita are hand crafted and of great sophistication and complexity. The Domaine produces wines from Moulin a Vent, Morgon, Chenas and Fleurie, which are cru appellations of Beaujolais. The Domaine also produces Beaujolais and Beaujolais Village. The wines come from grapes produced in old vineyards with great terroir for expressive modern Beaujolais wines which showcase this appellations potential for greatness. Anita believes in sustainable viticulture and focuses on single plot vintages.

Sustainable viticulture is practiced religiously at this estate and single vineyard plots with exceptional terroir are used for their cru designation wines.Granite soils and high density plantings optimize the quality of the grapes produced. Burgundian vinification of destemming, vinifying and aging the wines are critical for attaining high quality Beaujolais from this estate.

Anita Neveu was a professional cyclist before venturing into winemaking. An avid cyclist, Anita participated in the World Cycling Championship in 1996 in Slovenia. It took dedication, courage and hard work to achieve her cyclist goals. She carried these traits with her into her winemaking career and has achieved high personal awards in creating exceptional, award winning wines in the Beaujolais region.
