Crafted by Bar TRENCH for their guest shift at Keefer Bar, this is a unique cocktail with a slight bitterness and fruity paprika note, featuring Nikka’s savoury Coffey Grain whisky.

Ingredients

30ml Nikka Coffey Grain
20ml Aperol
20ml Roast Paprika Honey Cordial
15ml Lemon Juice
Garnish with Dried Cherry Tomato slice

Instructions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all the ingredients to the shaker. Shake the ingredients together vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled. Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish the drink with a dried cherry tomato and enjoy your cocktail creation. Cheers!

Roasted Paprika Cordial Recipe

1 piece Red Paprika (Red Bell Pepper)

300g Acacia Honey

150ml Water

Roast the surface of one red paprika until it turns black with a burner and peel it. Using cold water, wash and take away the black burned parts of the paprika skin. Cut the peeled paprika into small pieces. Put all the cut paprika, Acacia Honey and water in a pan and bring to boil. When it boils, turn the heat down very low and simmer for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat. Blend the mixture in a blender and let it rest. Store in the fridge. Straining is not necessary. Yields roughly 600ml.
